Service Design project created by a team of 4 Design Students from the Universidad de Navarra. We had the opportunity to have this project guided by Alvaro, our deaf-mute teacher. He taught us all the methodologies, challenges and guidelines that as designers we should always take into account when designing anything. We partnered with "El Corte Ingles" (biggest department stores in Spain) to generate a proposal to improve the costumer experience for users with special needs.
After a thorough process where we analyzed every floor of El Corte Ingles, using role play and other Service Design tools we came to the conclusion that there where no places for people with special needs to rest or have anything to lean on while having a long shopping day. This is the reason why Leisure Lounge came to life.
